Vauxhall XE (C20XE)

As fitted to the Vauxhall Mk2 Astra GTE (Opel Kadett E GSi/GTE), Mk3 Cavalier GSi/SRi (Opel Vectra A GTE), Calibra 16v and Mk3 Astra GSi. Also the Lada 110 and Chevrolet Vectra GSi

Although the Vauxhall / Opel C20XE was replaced as a production engine quite some time ago it is still one of the most popular clubman motor sport engines and is a dominant force wherever a two litre class limit is imposed.

The XE (aka 'redtop') is used for a wide range of motor sport applications and our workshop has consequently created championship winners in several disciplines.

The popularity of the XE is also due, in part, to the fact that it is a simple engine to tune to clubman level and to support the private engine builder we supply a huge range of components for tuning the C20XE, from the humblest nut and bolt through to race developed components for the ultimate competition engine.
